The School Grounds pt1
"Rena! I have to go now, come down to the couch!" I somewhat heard my mom call up the stairs. I had my head buried under a stuffed animal and my body under three covers.
"I'm coming!" I called when I sat up. My second floor room was freezing compared to how warm my bed was. I laid back down and looked outside. Though I had no idea what I was going to see considering it was pitch black outside and I'm blind without my glasses.
I closed my eyes for a quick second, and I saw a horrible picture of the entire student and teacher body laying dead in the parking lot. There was a lou

I felt sick. Sick right down to my stomach. No, much farther than that. The impending doom that was to engulf the school. No. It had to have been a dream. A horrible dream from the lack of sleep due to school starting. Though it didn't explain how I saw such vivid images or heard such clear sound. Was it to happen at all? If it was going to happen, when would it happen?
I walked to my bus stop, not really paying attention to how fast I was walking. The sun was just coming up over the horizon casting a warm blue from the sky over the street I was walking up. Though the blue normally calmed my worried mind, it just made me wonder mo

Kya must have seen Erika running down the hallway, because she stopped laughing, also.
"Whoa, Erika, what's wrong? You looked like..." Kya looked down to me. "Well, you look like Rena."
"Morning, Fluffy-chan." I said to Erika as she stopped in front of Kya and me. She leaned on her knees, panting from running.
"Rena, can I talk to you?" Erika said grabbing my hand and running off, dragging me behind her, towards the closest restroom down the hallway.
"I'll wait here! ... I guess..." I heard Kya say as we left her behind by my locker.
Erika's hands were damp with sweat, but they were also freezing cold. I didn't really pay attention,

There was an awkward silence through the room. I heard Erika whimper softly, but only once. There was definitely some kind of aura going on through the room, but I couldn't name it. Bear was watching the sink as though it would spontaneously combust. Erika was staring at the floor trying as hard as I was to hold back tears. I was watching over the two of them, also forcing down the tears that were threatening to overwhelm me.
I don't know what happened next, but something painfully shoved me to the floor with icy hands that sent waves of dread, pain, and anger through my body.
You will lead!
There was a whispery voice in my ears. I k

We were trapped. What we were being trapped by, wasn't very clear, yet. I just know that we were trapped within the school. Erika with a D on her cheek, and I had an L on my chest. DEFENDER and LEADER. What were they for? What are we supposed to do?
"I can't take it!" Bear shouted standing up. My arm fell to floor, which took longer than it should have to realize that it was now on the dirty floor.
"What?" Erika asked sitting up. I decided that it may have been a good time to just pull my hands into my lap and be quiet.
"You two are marked! I'm the only man here! What if you two are hurt somehow? I have to protect you both!" Bea

"Oww... I think that may leave a mark..." I heard Bear say from the front of the classroom. I looked up from the weapons to see Bear sitting on the floor while Erika looked over his back. She held his shirt in in her hands as she leaned on her knees.
"Erika, what's up?" I asked walking to the front of the room where my friends were. I looked over Bear's back as he raised an arm to try to scratch it.
"Good Lord. It's an..." My voice trailed off as I got a good look at Bear's back. At a left to right angle was a deep red F with two dots between the lines. There were spikes, I guess you would call them, going alternate directions as tho
