Kya must have seen Erika running down the hallway, because she stopped laughing, also.

"Whoa, Erika, what's wrong?  You looked like..." Kya looked down to me.  "Well, you look like Rena."

"Morning, Fluffy-chan." I said to Erika as she stopped in front of Kya and me.  She leaned on her knees, panting from running.

"Rena, can I talk to you?" Erika said grabbing my hand and running off, dragging me behind her, towards the closest restroom down the hallway.

"I'll wait here!  ... I guess..." I heard Kya say as we left her behind by my locker.

Erika's hands were damp with sweat, but they were also freezing cold.  I didn't really pay attention, but I guessed my hands felt the same to Erika, as well.

I almost tripped over my foot as we rounded the corner into the girl's restroom.  Unfortunately, there were at least three turns we had to make before actually entering the main part of the restroom.

And there he stood, staring out the window.

"Oh my gawd!  Erika!" I shouted loudly.  My voice echoed throughout the restroom making him look away from the window towards us.  I blushes a dark cherry red before grabbing Erika's hand and dragging her into the first bend into the restroom.

"Era-chan!  Why the hell is Bear in the girls bathroom?!" I whispered loudly to my friend.

"Rena, no one is in the entire ninth grade hallway.  No one.  Not even teachers.  It's just you, me, Bear, and Kya.  There's something bad that's going to happen today." Erika told me.  I stared at her as though she was crazy.

"You know, I can hear every word you girls are saying." Bear said from the echoing room.

Erika laughed and I made an odd noise, which sounded like a horrible cross between a hiccup and a gasp.  That only made Erika laugh harder.

"Oh great, the world's in danger and you're laughing!" I shouted at my friend.

"Hey, uhh, Rena, Erika, I'm gonna go downstairs, okay?  Bye." I heard Kya say from the hallway.

"She's gonna die, isn't she?" I whispered softly to Erika.

"Don't say that, Rena!  You'll jinx her if you say stuff like that!" Erika shouted at me turning and walking back into the girls restroom.

"But, Erika, I had this vision-thing, and I had to kill her..." I whispered.  Erika stopped and looked at me.

"I was hoping it wasn't just me who was having those visions." She said softly.

"I guess we're the only three that really know what's going to happen today." Bear said walking up to Erika and me.

"You saw it, too?" I asked completely forgetting that I was face-to-face with the same boy I was crushing on.

"This morning, around four thirty?  Mmm, hmm." Bear replied to me.  I looked up to him, since he was taller than me, to see if he was telling the truth.

It was.

The three of us had pale skin, and fear in our eyes.

"We should compare visions to see who is to do what when this thing happens." Erika suggested in a low voice, though we were the only ones in the bathroom.

"Uhh, maybe we should find a better place, like a classroom?" I suggested.  Just the thought of having a conversation in a restroom was a little awkward.

"Yeah, that'd be better than in here.  It echoes too much, someone may over hear us." Bear said leading the way out of the restroom.

I followed him with Erika close to my right side.  Our footsteps echoed in the empty hallways as we searched for an open room that could be used for conversation.

Room two eighteen was the only room that was open.  Even though we searched the entire ninth grade hallway.

"I guess this'll do..." Bear said opening the door more and letting Erika and me in first.  I jumped up onto the black desk at the front of the room to sit on it.  Erika sat down in a desk in front of me.  Bear leaned on the black desk beside me.

I looked over Erika and Bear.  Erika was looking at the floor, but Bear was watching me carefully.  Our eyes met, we both blushed and looked away.  Erika must have seen it, for she laughed softly.

"So, I'll go first.  I was standing somewhere with you two, watching an explosion from a government missile.  I don't know where we where, I just know we were in the school." Bear said to us.

Erika and I muttered in agreement, though I hadn't seen Bear in my vision.

"I guess we know what the first one was a about.  The next one was around, what, six thirty in the morning?" Erika asked.  Bear and I nodded.  "This time, we had to attack.  I guess this'll show us what positions we'll be in."  Bear and I nodded again.

"Well, I was holding a kind of large spell book in my left hand, and I could cast spells." Erika said moving her hands to show what it looked like.

"Like Zatch Bell." I pointed out.  Erika glared at me.

"I guess, but no Momodo.  I could call out, like, FIRE, and I could control fire that came from nowhere." Erika explained.

"I had a crossbow that had bows of pure poison." Bear said holding up his arms to show what he had seen.

"So, Rena, what did you have?" Erika asked looking up at me.  I looked down to her, a disappointed expression on my face.

"I had a gun.  That looked a lot like what they use in "Cyborg 009." I said to Bear and Erika.  "I had to kill Kana-chan..." I added in a whisper.

"I was forced to kill Fred..." Bear added on in a whisper.  I saw the pain in his eyes.  It matched what I felt.

"Ayka...  Ayka was who I had to kill." Erika whispered.  We were all whispering.  I looked to the ceiling trying to force down the tears that were so close to showing themselves.

We were silent for a moment.

"Does this mean, we'll be killing our friends?" Erika asked.  My lip quivered as I thought about it.

"I guess this does..." Bear replied before I could.

The involuntary tear ran down my cheek as I thought of all my friends being killed...

By us.
Gawd, you all better like this, cause it friggin' made me cry!!
