As Erika and I, nearly running back to my house, we talked about the when and who.  How many, and what the cost was.  I looked at the little notebook paper in my left hand.

"It says it can hold up to two hundred people with seating, but can hold about fifty more since their taking out the seats.  Well, let's hope they do." I said slowing my pace so I wouldn't trip.  Erika stopped a few feet in front of me and I nearly walked into her.

"That'll be good.  It can be a purely fan thing.  This way, only fans can come.  But wait, when should we hold this?" Erika asked grabbing the paper.  She stared at it hard.

"Well, since it is only Monday, I what we should do, is make everything okay today, and have the concert on Sunday, but have kind of a fundraiser on Friday and Saturday." I said pointing a finger to the sign that said the dates of Horse Trading Days.  Erika looked up to the poster and nodded.

"This will be an extremely big project, you know." Erika said to me.  I smiled and told her that's why I brought her to help.  She thought about that and nodded again.

"So, we should call them when we get to my house.  And look up on the Internet how much a normal concert ticket will cost." Erika said as we started walking again.  She handed me back the paper.

"How about if I do the calling so you don't scream someone's eardrum out?" I said glancing her way.  Erika nodded and giggled like a fangirl.

I took my key out of my pocket when we were walking down my street.  Erika was humming "Build God, Then We'll Talk" so most of the walk I could think to myself.  Not much came to mind.  Even if Panic! At the Disco was desperate; they would hang up on me for such a useless idea.  I had no idea how wrong I was.

"Okay, Rena, help me with your computer!  I wonna get this stuff really quick!" Erika said sitting in the rolling chair after we got my dogs to stop barking at us.  She rolled halfway across the floor and I could see her in the doorway.  I laughed.

"Okay, did you move the mouse to make the screen blue?" I asked walking into the dining room.  The screen was the normal light blue color.  I quickly zoomed my way around the screen bringing up the Internet.

"Nothing bad.  Just the cost of concerts and what we may need for a normal one."

"We need props!" Erika nearly shouted scooting her way back to the computer.

"You scare me sometimes.  Just, be quiet while I make this phone call." I said letting my friend dig into the net to find out different concert facts.

I walked into my living room and picked up the phone and the little piece of paper with the band's number on it.  I dialed and just after the first ring, Erika broke out in a weird scream followed by something about iTunes.

It was five rings later before I heard a bored voice answer; "You've reached the main line for Panic! At the Disco.  This is Brendon Urie.  I refuse to sound happy."

"Uhh, hi, my name is Rena and ---"

"Hey, who's on the phone?" Someone shouted from the distance on the other end of the line.  Urie yelled at the voice.  I had to laugh.

"You were saying?" He said, still bored.  "And no matter what you say about loving the band, we're nearly dead over here and there's nothing you can say or do to make me happy."

"Uhh, okay then.  I won't tell you about the gig that I was about to suggest." I said starting to pace the living room.

"You got us a gig?!  Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you... wait!  Where is this and when?" Urie asked nervously.

"Well, my friend is looking up normal costs and a good ---"

"Is this weekend good for them?" Erika shouted really loudly.  "The manager at the Strand says it'd be good for HTD!!"

"What's an HTD?" Urie asked softly.

"Horse Trading Days.  But I take it you heard all that?" I asked kind of softly.

"Uhh, yeah, your friend is louder than Spencer.  And this weekend would be perfect.  We're not far away... are we?" Urie asked me, his voice still low.

"Holy crap!  I don't have that much money!" Erika shouted from the dining room.

"Erika, will you shut up?!" I shouted out to my friend just as loud, if not louder.

"Wow, you got a voice.  And we're in D.C. if you were gonna ask." Urie said.  I could hear that he was now nervous.

I explained the place where we were planning and the cost it would be to rent out the Strand.  I thought I heard someone jumping in the background on the other end of the phone line.

"That'd be perfect!  We'll be on Thursday to help you with finishing touches on the set!  Okay?" Urie said.  I knew he was smiling.

"Okay!  We'll work out costs and if we run into any problems ---"

"Just call!" Urie said.  We hung up at the same time.

I set the phone on the receiver and sighed.  My heart was beating faster than wild horses running, but at least everything was going to go well.

Yay! Another Panic in a Small Town story. I'm trying to work on this in every free moment I have! It's about 10:30AM here, and I'm trying as hard as I can to write as much in little time so I don't forget all the other stories I have in my head right now. I'm listening to different music and it's very odd.

I do not own anything in this story. Only the words that come from my mind. I don't own Panic! At the Disco, nor the Strand, I dunno what I own other than my words.
