Living Puppet

Yeah, so... I lied. Sorry everyone!! I had said that you wouldn't heard from me until the twins were done, but they're taking longer than expected.

You all remember Corra, don't you? Of course you do. She's too darn cute of a puppet to forget. Everyone needs more than one outfit, and this is Corra's!! I drew her in the four hour time zone of our half day of school today.

Time for the background story!!
I got the inspiration for Corra's outfit after drawing Rin's new outfit yesterday. I was daydreaming about something simple that would match Corra's personality, then somehow a bikini popped into my head. I pulled out my sketch book and started drawing. I drew the in-detailed-stick-figure, then added on the body to the point where I could add clothes on.

If you can see, the top part looks kind of like that bikini I mentioned. Of course, I can't just stop there. I added in the dress form and everything fell together. ^.^

Most of this was drawn in my Chemistry class sitting next to my friend Brittany, who watched me draw. I had gotten done with the hands when she said that she wanted a dress just like the one I drew. Guess that's my next project.

I drew Corra's hair during Gym class. My friend, Kelsee, suggested the bow holding her pigtails instead of the spheres. I drew the one ponytail, but I thought it looked to adorable to ruin it with another. So Corra has one side ponytail in her new outfit. ^^

This looks rather dark, doesn't it? Well... my scanner ate the picture... >.<; I played around with the color balance and the brightness/contrast on GIMP to make the lines stand out better. I hope it worked!
